             Get More Traffic to your Affiliate Marketing Website

There are many creative ways to increase yourwebsite traffic, both paid and free methods. My last post has comprehensively exposed some of the commonly used. I also intend itemizing more of the hidden ones that gurus are using in this post; though unpronounced, yet very effective. Some of my readers challenged me on which one I adopt but my response has always been the same. I blend almost all of these methods to grind out results.

The edge, Affiliate Marketing has over all other internet business is its potential to feature in all website niche either as a dedicated business or mixed sales. This gives you opportunity of featuring more than a specific product niche on your Affiliate Marketing website. A blend of affiliate products in electronics gadgets, software, health and sport can fly conveniently on a website, especially if your packaging is eye-catching.

Discussed methods of attracting traffic to your websites so far for a recap are:

·         Good Contents

·         Mailing list

·         Complete SEO

·         Paid Traffic

·         Social Media

The rest can include:

·         Forums: Register and actively participate in forum discussions, giving concise practicable solutions to other members’ questions living back a link to your website. Note that some forums would not allow you leave back a link on your comments. Avoid them as they will not contribute to your campaign success.

·         Link/Banner exchange: Search for other websites having a related campaign that can allow you post your link or banner on their website while you’ll do the same for them on your own website. I am involved in this.

·         Article Submission: Come up with a dazzling article on your chosen niche/product with your website backlink and submit them to free articlesubmission search engines like e-Zine Articles, once approved. It is a proven potential paid traffic generator on its own.

·         Free offers: Offers some products for free on your website and you’ll have some people glued to your website visits till they become buyers.

·         Offline Advert: Make your presence known in all places leads can go. Print cards, stickers, and flyers for public gathering places highlighting what your websites offers and share them. No limits to what these can do.

 

While I will not deny probability of having more effective ways delisted for oversight. I will warn you of the prevailing so called “black hat” tricks of generating internet website traffic that only work for a short term and leave your business worse than they met it.

Do not be swept away by the deception of those traffic sellers promising thousands of visits to your site within one hour. What they really do is to upload your website address into a software program with a list of proxies and run this program several time in few hours. It appears you have visitors on your site BUT it is the proxies that pinged your site with different IPs and no real person sees your site but the website counters see all as visits. Buy only traffic you can control.
